The bootloader settings page tell the bootloader about forwarding control to the application.
Learn MoreApr 13, 2017 · The DFU USB Bootloader cannot run using the internal RC oscillator, it requires an external oscillator. The uC can output the High Speed External Oscillator (or many other clock/PLLs/etc) on it's pins. Output HSE oscillator on pin PA8 and drive the Si5351 with that clock source.

Learn MoreJul 14, 2017 · Quite out of scope of this project, but as all we know, default DFU bootloader is quite unstable. It does not work "well" on Mac or Linux. I think alternative bootloader which supports standard DFU protocol can help firmware development in Linux or other non-Windows systems.. Could we build alternative bootloader which supports DFU protocol other then default buggy USB-MSD DFU?
Learn MoreThe phyCORE-STM32MP1 provides a high-speed USB OTG interface that uses the STM32MP1's embedded high-speed USB OTG IP-Core connected to the second port of the embedded USB high-speed PHY. The USB OTG IP-Core supports both device and host functions and is fully compliant with the On-The-Go Supplement to the USB 2.0 specification.
Learn More2 Bootloader Overview The USB DFU bootloader provides an easy and reliable way to load new user applications to devices that have the USB DFU bootloader preloaded. After it is loaded, the new user application is able to run in the MCU. The USB DFU bootloader requires an application running on a PC.

Learn MoreJan 18, 2017 · The only downside of using the internal oscillator means no high-speed USB (including built-in USB bootloader as per the manual, which means traditional UART ISP applies). But for embedded applications, you could be some ridiculously awesome stuff with basically 1 chip and 2 bypass caps.
